2016 Met Gala: Behind the Scenes with Music Royalty

Last night, the biggest names from every sphere of entertainment converged on New York for the annual Met Gala. From Beyoncé to Taylor Swift, some of the night’s best fashion moments came from the pop world.

At $30,000 per plate, the exclusive fundraiser benefits the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Over the years the event has become a high-profile showcase for designers and artists to advance their brand within a designated theme—this year, “Manus x Machina: Fashion in the Age of Technology.” Appropriately, social media fixations like Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadid (on the arm of boyfriend Zayn Malik) made appearances, among more traditionally famous stars like Madonna, whose revealing Givenchy outfit put plenty of bum on display.
